Paddler's Lane Retreat

We found Paddlers Lane after we couldn't get a room that allowed our dog to come with us and found such a hidden gem! We were in the cabin right on the river and loved our stay. The cabin does sit fairly close to the railroad tracks but we weren't disrupted by that at all. Our dog loved the river and porch, and the doggie welcome kit was such a nice bonus as it had all kinds of extra towels and treat! We're already planning another trip out and can't wait to be back!

Staying at this place was one of the most self-recharging, best retreats I have had in my life. The staff is amazing. Dan is an international treasure, I kid you not. Anybody that goes there will see exactly what I mean. I didn’t get a chance to meet Robin because she was traveling, but the fact that she texted me back all the way from Tokyo to make sure I was taken care of by Dan already spoke volumes even before I had gone to check in.||Dan took such good care of us. It was an amazing experience. My friend and I went to celebrate our birthday, and we definitely felt recharged and re-energized. The atmosphere is great, and Dan always makes sure that you’re well taken care of. Just be ready to not have any service aside from WiFi. It was a total unplug for us and exactly what we needed.||I

We stayed in the chalet and it was beautiful. It was immaculate and very cozy. Loved the fireplace! Even though the tracks were close, we barely heard the trains. The owners were very friendly and informative. We would definitely go back with our family next time!

As always Dan and Robin have a welcoming, cozy home that we come back to again and again. We love the open kitchen setup each morning with a variety of breakfast foods and delicious coffee. Dan always stops by to see his guests and gives us a few laughs. He is a treasure and so helpful - last visit he gave us some much needed gas upon departing - due to our lack of planning. Confluence does not sell gas! Thank you-our 4 nights were perfect.

Robin and Dan made our stay extremely comfortable. We travel extensively and found the quality of everything to be the very best we have come across. Dan was a very friendly host and we enjoyed sharing the kitchen space with fellow guests, who like us us there to see Falling Water. A great place in a fabulous location.
