P. Terry's Burger Stand

Pterry’s is usually our family’s go to spot for fast food but lately the quality of fries has been awful. Taste stale and too crunchy. Fries? More like veggie straws. This time I sent my husband back inside to have them remade. They remade them the exact same way. Husband asked the manager if there is a standard quality for the fries and he told us it depends on the day for what you get. Awesome. These went straight in the trash can. Probably won’t be back for awhile.

Great food always but this place was filthy dirty and it was not busy at all. There was lots of trash by the drink station and I told the cashier to pass me a broom so I can clean it up since I didn’t really mimd. He said he would take care of it and 30 mins passed and nothing and it was slow till one of the drive thru girls started cleaning up.

I held off on leaving a review because i came to this location often and I felt that if I left a review about my experience, the workers would know it was me and I didn't want that to affect future visits. I didn't end up going back though because I'm afraid of this happening again. I want to note here that before this experience, I came here all the time, never had any issues and I continue to go to the other location in New Braunfels, so I am familiar with what to expect from their food. The last time I went, I got my usual order- a cheeseburger lettuce wrapped. When I took a bite, it had way too much pepper on it. Out working for a few weeks and realized that they have In-N-Out Burger out here. I went to try it. I was so disappointed. I hadn't been to one in about 15 yrs because I never really thought they were any good. So needless to say, they left me craving a real good home-cooked type cheeseburger. I had never heard of P. Terry's until one of my co-workers told me to come try it. You people up here in these parts of Texas aren't even aware of how lucky you are to have such a good hamburger joint here. The French fries were great. I wouldn't even get me started on a double cheeseburger. Burger was so fresh and cheesy! The beef patties were full of flavor! A meal without the Big price tag. It was my first time trying out their menu and I felt didn't feel guilty eating out. The folks working there were very kind and patient, it made it easier to make a decision on my oder.
