The Scoop

After an especially tough two weeks, my girlfriends and I treated ourselves to an afternoon of delicious food, heartfelt conversation, and a bit of retail therapy 🛍️. We started at Souflee and then I happily convinced the group to wrap up our day at The Scoop—and what a perfect decision that was! Although I missed saying hi to Cassie 😉, the entire team made our visit feel like a big warm hug. The young lady in the black t-shirt working in the back, the incredibly charismatic young man who helped us with our ice cream and kept us laughing with great conversation, and the sweet blonde young woman who wrapped up our experience—each of them added such a joyful, personal touch. Fun little spot full of delicious ice cream flavors and a unique gift shop experience. Been coming here for years. Kids love it. Beware, the fresh waffle is soft! This surprised my wife. It was still great, but it just want what she expected.

Got a classic sundae, which came with two scoops, choice of hot fudge or caramel topping, whipped cream, chopped pecans, and a cherry. I chose hot fudge with Mexican vanilla and Dutch chocolate. Simple flavors, but very good ice cream. Both flavors were rich and creamy.

This place has the best ice cream I've ever had in my 42 years of life. The staff is super friendly and the rotating selection keeps things interesting. The atmosphere is inviting and is set inside a specialty shop. No point in going anywhere else for ice cream. Be sure to get the “Sweet Rewards” frequent flier card!! Also posted on Yelp)

I went multiple times with friends, and truly enjoyed it. While the attached boutique clothing isn't quite my style, there are always things I come back for. The variety of the ice cream/shake/float options. The ingenious mostly handmade and unique home decor. There is something for everyone and history is displayed with pride.
