Oyster Bar Columbia

The food was ok, not bad. Our server, Tigan, was very nice. We got the clamp chowder, it was good. The oysters with bacon and cheese were ok. I like charbroiled better. The shrimp and grits were ok. We got it with sausage and cheese and bacon. All the toppings over powered the grits. Maybe would be better with warmest cheese I stead of cheddar. Our son got Beauford's basket. He enjoyed it. The crayfish were very small. It was a generous portion.

This place has a nostalgic charm—grab what you need and head out, but it's truly wonderful. The food is exceptional, and their customer service is outstanding. The vibe is hard to describe, but once you step inside, you'll feel it. Come in, enjoy yourself, and make the most of it.

Great oysters decently priced and very good, friendly service. Not hoity toity but not a dive. James River oysters served to us today.

Family run, great fresh food and always great service and atmosphere

If you love seafood, you'll love this place. The oysters and shrimps are fresh and AMAZING. The soup is AMAZING. The service is GREAT. Overall, very nice and attentive staff, and great food and atmosphere.
