OxVegas Chicken

We stopped by OxVegas Chicken in Oxford after a college visit at Miami University with my wife and son. Everything we saw online made this place look incredible, so we were excited to try it. The space itself is actually pretty cute and very student-friendly. Ordering is done on a touchscreen, and your food is brought out to you, which makes it quick and convenient. That said, the only real service interaction we had was when the food was dropped off. Unfortunately, the fries were cold and the chicken was just okay. I can absolutely see this being a totally different experience if the place were busy and everything was coming out hot and fresh. Today just felt like an off day. If you are in Oxford, you really should plan to visit this restaurant. The food is delicious! The breading on the chicken is perfect! The Mac and cheese is super creamy and has a yummy taste. The pretzel stick caps off the meal. For being a place where you can get quick food, this is a pleasant experience!!

I’ve been waiting for this place to open for a long time and it did not disappoint! I ended up getting the three piece combo, or “The Freshman” with a side of Mac and Cheese. The chicken was perfect, and I enjoyed the fries too! Service-wise it was cool to see the owners both involved in making the food and checking on everyone. Overall plan on going here as much as I can and the late night hours will be great for after the bars close.

We stopped by after moving our son in. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell he really loves this place and takes great pride in it. The food was fantastic. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The Mac n cheese was delicious. Now let's talk about the waffle fries. They, hands down were so good. They had the perfect amount of seasoning and cooked perfectly. It was also so great to grab a draft beer as well. We can't wait to go back.

Dinner was great! The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried the OxSauce, Kickin-Sauce, and honey mustard. OxSauce is obviously meant to compare to other special sauces elsewhere and it did not disappoint. The cinnamon pretzels and icing dip were also good!
