Went to Owen’s today. Not a bad place. I would say it was average. Very crowded, but that was because Santa and Mrs. Clause were there. Service wasn’t great. Sign said to seat yourself so we did. Then wait staff just looked at us as they walked by. I even asked my daughter if maybe we walked into a private party or something but there was no closed sign. We finally got someone to take our order and I think it was the Grinch incognito. Wasn’t very friendly. Food was decent but nothing to write home about. Gravy tasted a little like it had lard in it and tasted really greasy. Omelette was good but needed to cook a little more. The veggies in it were a little undercooked. Too late for breakfast had lunch instead. My husband had thr fried chicken steak, he loved it. I had the fried ham & Swiss on rye also very good. Service was great. Very friendly and attentive.

The service is very friendly, it’s a cozy place. The food tastes very good. I recommend it for a delicious breakfast.

breakfast was great! Our server was sweet and funny and fast! Our drinks never ran out! Family atmosphere and best of all there were signs of Jesus all around! Bless this business!

Bright , clean, nicely decorated place. It is good Ole country cooking. I had the $11.99 lunch special posted in the pics. I was really satisfying and I'm a really picky eater. I would definitely come back. Menu pics included. Update 4/1/2025, I'm back for a second time, this time with 2 other people. I had the double cheese burger this time and it was simply top notch. It was well seasoned and a hearty size burger. Keep up the great work ya'll. My other 2 guests had a 100% positive experience as well.
