Edit: returned again. Still impressed! Had fantastic nigiri - Sea Bream, Bonito, charred salmon belly - all high quality! This places punches way above its belt considering many “top” sushi spots in town are charging 2x more for marginally better quality. Less thrilled with their Thai offerings. Perhaps stick to more the Chinese and japanese/sushi menu items. ———————- What a great value and go-to neighborhood spot! Been driving past this place for years and im sorry i have, because this place is worth a stop. Great specials/lunch specials. The sushi was surprising highly quality at a good price. In an easy to access shopping center with parking, comfortable, clean spot with modern decor. Whats not to like?

Great ambiance, excellent service (Ava was wonderful!) and delicious sushi! I had the Sunny Roll (spicy tuna, tempura shrimp, light rice, no avocado) for $12.50. It was fantastic! Also enjoyed the spicy tuna and salmon rolls. Lunch special was three selected rolls for $11.95. My friend had the sashimi lunch special which was also $11.95. The specials came with choice of soups (miso or mushroom) or salad. We both had the mushroom soup which was great. Clean restrooms, ample parking.

I’ve been living in West Ashley for a year now. Before this, I was always exploring food spots around downtown Charleston, especially near King Street. But recently, I discovered that James Island is a hidden gem—not only does it have beautiful ocean views, but it’s also packed with amazing restaurants. Today’s spot was recommended by a coworker who’s lived here for over a decade. And wow, it blew me away. Most sushi places serve decent rice, but the rice here? Next level. It actually made me nostalgic. I stopped by today just to try a few things since I’d already had dinner earlier. I ordered the Tuna Cracker, Habachi Kama, and an Avocado Eel Roll. My first time visiting Osaka and I was blown away by the hospitality and the food. Abby was the bartender and she is an absolute angel. 10 star service. So kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. There was nothing I had that wasn’t delicious. I’m excited to come back and try more things! A hidden gem on a busy road that I had never thought to stop at before. Made some new friends while there too! Might be a new regular spot for me. Love it!

Was very impressed with Osaka Sushi. Authentic restaurant serving high quality fish. Loved the Scottish Salmon. The atmosphere is also *very* nice - I really enjoyed the setting while having my sake. A foodie friend recommended this place to me and I wish I would have found this spot sooner. Will most certainly return !
