Orono Brewing Company - Downtown Bangor

Very laid back vibe and had playing cards handy, always a plus. The bartender was super friendly and helped recommend beers and other local breweries as well.

This was our first stop in Bangor right as we got into town from Knoxville, TN. Breweries are popular down south so we thought we would give Orono a try - it did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I shared a beer flight (pictured below if you were curious about what we got) and my personal favorite was the Fruitful! Wonderful staff behind the bar! She was very friendly and gave us perfect recommendations! Once we come back to Maine we will definitely be back!

Perfect way to get a taste of the local flavor in Bangor. Great beer, atmosphere, and conversation. The woman working was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap as well as the area and recommended things we should do before leaving town. Prices were pretty friendly as well!

Always a good time. Locals, tourists, somebody to talk to, silence of you need it, free popcorn, a good spot for a quick or extended beer

Delicious beer!!!! Sad they were out of Oktoberfest beer.
