Home of the best Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak Plainsboro staple. Been coming for past 30+ years. The only thing I order is the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. What they have always been known for. The sauce. Mixed with blue cheese just hits different. If you’re in the area. Definitely try the BCC you won’t be disappointed.
We recently stopped at this place on our tour of NJ (we used to live in the area). We ordered a huge cheesesteak and an order of curly cheese fries. The curly cheese fries were crispy, twisted, and delicious! The cheesesteak was good. The meat was flavorful and the onions were crispy, but there was no cheese sauce on it. It had white cheese on it. Maybe I was supposed to ask for that...not sure. Years ago, we remember the cheesesteak covered in sauce. It was good, just different.
I love visiting eateries that remind me not to judge a book by its cover. Or a restaurant by its rundown exterior and worn, no-nonsense decor. "This looks like a place I would come as a drunk college kid," my husband mused when we first stepped inside. True to his observations, the menu is rife with the kinds of deep fried goodies and artery-clogging sandwiches that are best meant for youthful bodies with optimal metabolism. We ordered a fun variety for ourselves - a meatball parm, a pound of buffalo wings, an order of curly fries, and - to balance things out - the harvest salad. For those ordering sandwiches, know that they're enormous. A half order is an 11" deal, while the whole is a Brobdingnagian 22". Our half sandwich was great, and definitely more than enough for us to share. We
Ordered $85 worth of sandwiches for pickup specifically at 115 through their website and received a message the food was ready at 1250, so not a great start. We were extremely disappointed by the rubbery low quality bread, dry chicken and greasy eggplant. Curly fries were decent I guess but was just frozen product reheated. Do not recommend
Absolutely Marvelous!! This cheesesteak restaurant was a revelation! The bread was perfect - soft and chewy on the inside with a delightful crispness on the outside. It cradled a mountain of thinly sliced ribeye, cooked to juicy perfection. Each bite was a symphony of savory flavors, the melty cheese and caramelized onions adding the perfect finishing touches. This wasn't just a cheesesteak, it was beautifully made.
