Original Skiff Fish + Oysters

We absolutely love this place - we’ve been just the two of us, as well as with our kiddos and large groups. The drink menu is top notch, crafted with care, and the raw bar and coastal inspired menu is all local seafood shipped several days a week from Boston. Easily one of the best seafood spots in Burlington. In the warmer months, the outdoor seating and fire pits are perfect with views of the lake!

The Original Skiff is a winner. The flexibility in our reservation and our time constraint was super helpful. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was super fresh and tasty. The tinned mackeral app was delicious and the lobster rolls were the very best we had all summer. 10/10! Highly recommend for dates, groups and families. *Attached parking garage is a plus.

Great cocktails, amazing food, and something different then what’s offered in the majority of the time. I’ve had the best raw clams here than anywhere else in a New England port town. The menu is pretty consistent and they always throw in some fun Easter egg to find on their special board. It’s an elegant fish fry spot with great raw fish preparations. Is it pricy? Of course. But who wants to eat cheap seafood? The banana pudding dessert served in a fish bowl makes me salivate thinking about it. Also the booths are fun for 4 guests- paired with a martini and some raw shellfish you will have yourself a great night!

Came here for the Wednesday night music and food special. It was a lovely experience. Both the food and service was great. The atmosphere was amazing, and the live blue grass was the cherry on top. Highly recommend the hush puppies and the JoyRide cocktail! I also really appreciated the parking garage connected parking garage since parking in the winter can be tricky in Burlington. Will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Original Skiff. The oyster shooters, hush puppies, and burger were excellent and the patio had a great vibe! I will definitely be visiting again when I am back in Burlington.
