Shy Guy Gelato

You can’t beat Shy Guy, not just because it’s the best ice cream in VT. but also because the owner and everyone who works there is so kind of truly always in the best mood. I love visiting. A few weeks ago I went in to buy a pint and couldn’t decide between two flavors...so they gave me one for free so I could have both! I mean come on...truly the kindest people. We love you Shy Guy!

Gelato- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ Atmosphere- ⭐️⭐️ Service- ⭐️ The gelato is amazing, the best I have ever had stateside. The Dubai Chocolate flavor was award winning! 🙌 The atmosphere could be greatly improved by putting out a few umbrellas and cafe tables on the sunny street. As for service- I think it’s unconscionable to not offer a customer restroom. After a 25 mile bike ride on the Island Line trail and then uphill from the waterfront, we would have loved a pitstop and handwashing before enjoying gelato. Please revisit this policy.

Super cool spot for quality gelato. They rotate their flavors daily but you can’t go wrong with anything they have. Staff is friendly and kind. Great place for a treat on a hot summer day.

We had the shy guy gelato cart for the dessert at our wedding and it was amazing! It was a great change of pace from a traditional cake. People raved about the gelato and they were so easy to work with. Would 100% use them again!

Loved that we could get 3 flavors even in a small cup. So the two of us split two smalls, and were able to try all 6 flavors they had. They all blew me away, except the peanut butter cup which I merely thought was good. The dark chocolate sorbet was ridiculously good and dark chocolatey, we were shocked it was a sorbet. Greek yogurt crunch was maybe my next favorite, but really, they were all excellent. The place is tiny but there's outdoor seating
