What a wonderful stay in Burlington! The unit is lovely, spacious, and clean. The balcony overlooking the grounds is a great spot for relaxing between activities and in the evening. Parking is convenient as well. ||Andrea is a wonderful host. She's there if you need anything, but not in your way. She can also give great recommendations! ||10/10 would recommend! Tip: the unit is bright. If you're sensitive to morning light, you may want a sleep/ eye mask. I brought mine and was glad to have it. My husband wasn't bothered at all, so just a matter of sensitivity.
Such a fantastic experience. Our family rented both units for a long weekend trip. Andrea was helpful and available, but not too much. The units were clean, close to town, comfortable, sooo welcoming. Andrea's space is magical and beautiful. We all enjoyed our time there and can't wait to come back!
This place was exactly as pictured. It was beautifully furnished, plenty of room, and spotless. The grounds were bursting with colorful flowers. We enjoyed our morning coffee and tea on the deck, and cocktails out there in the evening. It was an easy walk to the waterfront and Church Street Marketplace. Andrea has thought of everything a guest could possibly want while away for a few days. What else is there? Much better choice over a hotel. Thank you Andrea - we loved our stay at Howard Street Guest House!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the ground floor room which was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The room is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We were sorry we were not staying longer as there is so much to explore in the local area. The house is about a 15 minute easy and safe walk into town where there are plenty of good restaurants.||||The host Andrea made us feel very welcome and was on hand for anything we needed. Nice little touches like some groceries and plenty of towels were appreciated. Thanks Andrea for providing such a lovely property.
We were celebrating a friend's 50th Birthday this past weekend. When I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel, I found the website for Howard Street Guest House. It's located just about a mile from downtown Burlington. I spoke with the owner Andrea and immediately liked her laid back attitude. I booked right away. I was not disappointed.||||There are 2 suites in a converted woodshop/carriage house, and they were just charming. We stayed on the first level since it was bigger. Not only did it have the multiple beds we required, but also a large sitting area, and kitchenette area (which Andrea stocked with coffee, tea, cereal, milk and juice). The décor is bright and cheerful and the furnishings were great. We had our friends over for appetizers and cocktails one afternoon and eig
