On The Rocks

We love On The Rocks! We have come year after year and had great experiences. We love the shrimp and grits, the soft pretzel appetizer, and the fried shrimp or flounder platter. Servers are always friendly.

We are local residents, living in Pine Knoll Shores about 4 miles away from On The Rocks. We really love coming to the restaurant! The food quality is exceptional and consistent. The atmosphere is lively and positive, without being crowded or noisy. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We truly hope that the restaurant will consider expanding their hours to include lunch service at some point in the future, even for a few days per week. We highly recommend On The Rocks to any visitors to the island!

The waitress was a little weird in terms of how she was talking and abruptly just walked away when I was about to order. The burger was undercooked but the waitress immediately took it away when she noticed and replaced it. The food was great!

This is a cute restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Our waitress was funny and kept our drinks full. I gave 3 stars for the food because there were several of my shrimp that were not deveined. The Brussel sprouts in my opinion were not very good. They were described as Sauteed Brussel Sprouts With Bacon. As you can see mine do not look like the same as what is on their website and there was not one piece of bacon. It was on the busy side. My husband and son said their food was good. They got the PoBoy sandwiches. I will go back and give them another try because the service was friendly and the majority of the food was good. The parking is semi difficult so I would get there a little early.

First time dining here. It was amazing. We had the filet with green beans and loaded baked potato, the ribeye, crab legs, clam chowder and salad. Everything was so good. Brittany was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Definitely our new favorite restaurant!
