On the Deck

It was a windy, but a very sunny day so we decided to sit outside with the view. Hold onto your menus and drinks if it's windy, worth the trouble though. The Bang Bang shrimp was good, although for me it could have been spicier, I love hot. Plated nicely and plenty of shrimp. We shared the fish of the day, haddock sandwich with great fries. Lots of them!I We would go back again to enjoy another delicious meal with a beautiful view. I wish I could remember our server's name, since she was excellent.

You really can’t beat the atmosphere here—surrounded by water, a peaceful marina, tree-covered hills, and even a distant view of Manhattan. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our kids were all smiles with the options on the kids' menu. The outdoor deck is definitely our favorite spot to sit and take it all in. The live music was a great bonus and added to the relaxing vibe. We’ve visited many times and finally had to leave a review for this hidden gem!

We two stopped here for lunch, and along with the weather, it was great. Had a couple of drinks, well made and reasonably priced. I ordered the Manhattan clam chowder, which was loaded with chopped clams, excellent. We went market price for the lobster avocado salad and the lump crabmeat sandwich. Both were delish, especially the generous serving of lobster. Service couldn't be better. We sat outside in the shade, and enjoyed the weather, the view, and food and drink. Cheers!

Our party of four went on a rainy Saturday in the early evening. Service did a great job of accommodating all parties dining on the deck who got caught in the flash storm. I do think they should have had the band hold off on playing for a bit while everyone adjusted; it wasn't great to try to have a catch up conversation disrupted by panicked people followed by loud music right next to us, so we didn't really have time or space to enjoy the vibe. But, the food was great. The sampler had really great, sweet clams in addition to the tasty oysters, crab claws, and shrimp. The crab cakes were flavorful and hefty, and the fish with scallops and shrimp were good but the fish could have been more tender.
