Omori Izakaya ( Brookline )

I could come here every day and not get tired. We got so much food but I could not stop eating. Some of my favorite Japanese food I’ve tried it was all berry flavorful. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great and it was pretty quiet in there despite being somewhat full. I’m visiting the area and the people who took me take all their visitors here for very good reason.

Sushi is standard, the softshell crab was tasty and a nice change of pace. I appreciate that they cut it up a little to make it easier to eat.

Fresh and high-quality fish. I ordered the Chef Omakase for Two ($68) for myself and it satisfied me pretty well! The price I’d say is slightly above average, but the high quality makes up for it. The fish was super fresh, and I loved the selection!

I hosted my birthday party here with 11 other people on a Friday and it was really pleasant. Good communication over the phone, great service and delicious food! Affordable prices. Everything we ordered was perfect for sharing and passing around a table of twelve. It was super easy to make a reservation for a lot of people and they even let me adjust the number day of. There was a little bit of everything for everyone’s taste. Great drinks!! They let me bring a birthday cake and they even wrapped it for us at the end! Great service and delicious food!

Visited for quick lunch for two. Outdoor seating was shaded and very nice. Server was kind enough to provide bowel of water to my dog. We tried takoyaki, fried oyster, sushi-sashimi combo, and una don. Takoyaki had pretty large piece of octopus meat (ie taco-). We were very satisfied and enjoyed our lunch. Easily became one of our favorites.
