It was a gorgeous autumn afternoon and we were rambling around Essex. We hope to stumble upon a sandwich shop and our wish was granted. The cute shop caught our eye and we knew we'd found our place when we realized they were known for their sandwiches and had outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful day. It was busy inside, but our server helped us decide between a couple of choices and told us we'd love the bread. I got the Tremendous Turkey, because I love Thanksgiving type sandwiches. Even better when I learned it came on cranberry bread. He got the Cliff Road and lived it just as much I did mine. After ordering, we made our way to the tea area. The server there kindly let me sample a tea, since I mentioned I had a very oversteeped ice tea earlier that day. It was wonderful and she g
Great deli/market ! Interesting and nostalgic charm. Had the roast beef special on Focaccia which was DELICIOUS.
Friendly atmosphere, many delightful sandwich choices- I tried a special #4 steak and mushroom sub - OM delicious & juicy, tender and warm mushroom and steak, it all stayed together; additionally it was served with a snappy horseradish topping. Also, I had a new beverage- iced lavender latte. It was creamy, smooth, balanced, and rich. All around, we had a great lunch on our walk/shop around Essex Village. One more thing, those working there seemed genuinely happy. I loved that too!
Such a cute sandwich place. They also have other food you can take away such as chix salad, broccoli salad & more. We’ve had one of the special roast beef sandwiches a few times and it’s always delicious. Prices are comparable with other places. They have a couple tables outside, too.
Hands down the best iced chai latte I’ve ever had. Also really enjoyed one of the sandwiches off the specials menu. We always have such a great experience here!
