Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I had such a wonderful experience tonight at the Olive Garden in Gastonia, NC, and I really want to recognize Anastasia, who was my waitress. Her customer service was truly phenomenal. It didn’t feel like she was being nice because it was her job—it genuinely felt like she’s just a kind, thoughtful person, and I appreciated that so much. I usually come here with my husband, and this was my first time dining here by myself. I honestly expected to be left alone and felt a little emotional missing him. But Anastasia was so phenomenal that, even though I missed my husband, I never felt alone alone. Absolutely excellent staff and food. As usual every time I go out to this place ! Well managed and well lit . Easy to pay and not odd. Easy to split the bill and seating was comfortable as well. We went for my dad's birthday and snuck in a happy birthday song on him last minute, we didn't think they did things like this there. But they do.!!! 😂😂🎁❤️

Derek was an amazing server who went above and beyond. He works very fast and gets everything right. He has good short conversations with the customers. He is a very kind gentleman with respect towards everyone. He loves his job and making sure he does everything right and very professionally. I love how he talks very loud and clear and knows the menu. He is just absolutely wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better server and im definitely going back to see him again. Servers like him are hard to find and he turned my bad day into a really great day. Thank you Derek for going above and beyond.

My husband and I came on a busy Saturday night. We were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes and ended up being seated not even a minute later. Our Server Cass went above and beyond! We had our hot appetizer and as soon as we were done here she comes with our soup, salad and breadsticks. We truly enjoyed her positive attitude towards us and look forward to coming again!
