Old World Deli | Authentic Polish Food

I am Polish, but I've never visited the Old World Dell before. What a neat experience. I sure wish I could read Polish, to know what some of the more unique cheeses, meats, and old-world items are in here. I should have taken my parents in here years ago, when they were alive. Big regret. Sulze, Farmers Cheese, pierogi - lots of familiar dishes my parents liked back in the day. Polish or not, it's a great place to find items from all over the world and a great place to visit.

I've heard good things about this place, I unfortunately walked in at 540 pm, was not greeted or even saw 1 person until after 545, which I was then rudely told "I'm not slicing anymore today" while they pointed to a small sign on the display window. Im a loyal customer when I find a good product, but based on this experience I won't even consider coming back. Rays will continue to get my business.

Yesterday bought 4 cherry wood sausages and early morning today opened fridge to get milk for coffee and whole refrigerator was smelling bad!! Of course I opened up those packed in paper sausages and it’s them!! Smell bad and sticky already.

Purchased two packages Napolitanke lemon wafers sticker marked $3.99 and some other items. Looking at receipt while driving 1/2 mile away, I noticed the charge was $13.98 for wafers. Went back for $6 money discrepancy and person would not accommodate refund stating that new hires put on the wrong stickers. When she priced gunned it, price showed 6.99/ box. Mistakes happen as she said, but it was not my mistake and inconvenienced me. Took my $13.98 and they lost a customer. SMH

We didn’t visit their store, we were at the Polish fair and tried their sausages and hotdogs and it’s was so tasty. Wish we could’ve brought extras to take home.
