Old Post Market

The deli in the Old Post Market puts out some amazing sandwiches, that's what Guilfort Grimsly from the Radio City Bar there on Peabody road tells me every time I go there for a beer. He's always pumping up the place, so I asked him if he's getting a kickback from the place..he isn't but he smiled like he could have been. Well, I finally went to the Old Post Market, and got a couple of amazing sandwiches. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

A real gem in Fairfield. Didn’t even know this place existed until today. Delicious sandwiches and a large menu of options. BLT was probably one of the best I have had. Loaded with crisp crunchy bacon cut in to bite size pieces on a fresh roll. Steak sandwich again loaded with steak that was thinly cut in a soft hero. Bacon brie grilled cheese was a surprise. An interesting combination of flavors and pretty presentation that followed through with great flavor. Will be returning to try more options on the menu.

Came across this spot when looking for lunch in the Fairfield area and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Turkey BLT and a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious, packed full of turkey, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and thick crispy bacon. The fries were perfect, crispy and hot. Portions are very fair for the price and I would definitely recommend Old Post Market.

Great spot by the beach to grab a quick bite! Their sandwiches are tasty and filling. Got a pizza to go and it was delicious. They have a good selection of food and they even sell necessities if you’re staying in an airbnb close by and need a few things. They have seating outside too and parking available.

Great sandwich, best to call ahead during lunch, it was really busy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating
