Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

I don’t remember the name of the waitress who served us last Saturday, but the service and the hamburger were awful. Yes, it was my mistake ordering a burger at a pizza place — that’s on me. But come on. She messed up our order twice. First, the wrong drink. Then she brought out a hamburger with no bun — just a patty, cheese, and bacon. After that, she brought the bun and an extra patty and basically made me assemble my own burger at the table. It came with about 10 fries — you could literally count them. The presentation was terrible. It looked gross, but I was hungry. She didn’t bring any utensils until the very end. We honestly didn’t know what was going on with her. Farmer's Daughter Pizza... I hesitated having the sweetness of balsamic on a pizza, but the slight bitterness of the arugula balanced it nicely. And then there was the world's best server, Jennica. She made the trip worthwhile.

The best tap house and pizza place we've had in a long while! We'll be back. This food was amazing. The service was friendly. The draft selection and pizza selections were off the hook! We started with their pepperroni pizza rolls. You have GOT to try these!!

We dined in today. It wasnt full. It wasnt empty. We were sat immediately. The wait began. Maybe 5 minutes before we were greated. We sent in our drink orders. Along with apps. Garlic bread and fried pickles. We get our stacked sodas. Basically 1/3 soda. And the rest was creme. They were not great. We orderd our main food at that point. Another 5-7 minutes goes by. Not a table touch a drink refresh or anything. No updates on food. Until a couple minutes before its gonna come out. The bread and pickles come out first. The bread was luke warm. The friend pickles. Were Luke warm also. My Mac i ordered had green onions on it. Instead of parsley. Wouldnt be a big deal. But she knew I didn't order the pizza roll appetizers cause they couldnt get the green onions. This place is always my go-to for when i’m shopping at Boise Square, Old Chicago has excellent food choices for everyone. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Emma, our waiter. She made our experience amazing with her sunny personality and exceptional server skills! She took the time to make sure our order was placed correctly and had patience. I recommend this place 10/10 all around!! Thank you Emma.
