Every dish was amazing! Duck khao soi was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had boat noodles which was also delicious. Num tok was incredible! All the protein was perfectly cooked and the balance and depth of flavor of the soups were absolutely perfect. The owner was so sweet. This is located in an unassuming strip mall but truly one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in the Dallas area. The sign still says Malacca Cafe, I think from the previous restaurant.
First Visit to Old Boy – Highly Recommended! ⭐️ This was my first time dining at Old Boy, and it was truly impressive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean, and well-organized, with private dining rooms available. The food was outstanding. The curry puff was perfectly crispy with generous filling. The spicy Vietnamese sausage salad (Yum Moo Yor) had just the right level of heat and was incredibly flavorful. The boat noodle with ribeye beef was excellent—the beef was tender, rich, and tasted authentically traditional. The price is very reasonable for the quality and portion. Another dish I loved was the braised shake beef ball—the meat was exceptionally tender and delicious. I ended my meal with the pandan coconut cake, which was fragrant and not overly sweet. The staff were f
We had dinner here yesterday Omg! If you’re looking for real traditional boat noodle and khao soi (curry noodle) just like in Thailand, it’s a must try. Boat noodle was rich and perfect spice, beef shuck was so tender. Khao soi Duck was so good, duck was crispy, the curry was rich and creamy. We also ordered their appetizers dumplings, curry puffs and fried tofu Everything was amazing and delicious and nice presentation. I’m highly recommend 👌
Khan soi noodles is so good. I come for boat noodle but their Khao soi soup is really great, better than what I have in Seattle. Curry puff and fried tofu is good, too. just wish their egg noodles are less soggy. Highly recommended this place.
Oh this place is amazing. This is the best Thai food I've ever had. Everything was fresh and the noodles were delicate. I had the Dumplings and the Khao Soi. Both were incredible. This place is new so they dont have their building sign up. Look for the Malacca Cafe sign in the meantime.
