I have lost count of how many times I’ve been here, but this place is awesome. I love the hot lobsta’ roll, but the flight is also a favorite of mine (Tempura Lobsta’?! YES PLEASE!). I consider myself a lobsta’ connoisseur, and this place is my absolute favorite. It’s super annoying that it’s in downtown Mystic because, as a local, I try to avoid that tourist nightmare at all costs, but this place is worth the headache. Love this place and I highly recommend it. ❤️🦞
Absolutely delicious! Best lobster roll I've ever had! Almost couldn't finish it....Almost. lol. Would highly recommend and will absolutely be back!
Off the Hook was absolutely delish. My lobster flight was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A truly standout meal! My son was thrilled to have a Del’s lemonade. The staff was super friendly too. A perfect spot for fresh seafood and family-friendly fun in Mystic!
We had an order of two hot lobsters rolls, clam fritters and a bowl of NE clam chowder. The lobster rolls were packed with fresh lobster and the bread was super fresh and toasted with butter on both sides. The clam fritters were supposed to be loaded with clam bits but that was not the case. There were scant little pieces but they were few and far between. The NE Clam chowder was also supposed to be loaded with bits of clam and bacon but it was nothing more than potato chowder. The lobster rolls were amazing but I would not order the clam chowder or the fritters again.
We ordered their fried halibut (Nashville hot) sandwich, fried fish tacos, clam chowder, and a mixed order of the scallops and corn fritters/clam fritters. We would give the sandwich a 6/10 since it had a lot of breading on it which made it difficult to really taste the fish. The fried tacos were ok..but I felt like it needed some flavor seasoning (6/10). Some Sriracha aioli would have made it better rather than plain tartar sauce 👍 I'm sorry, but the clam chowder was absolutely terrible. It was so watery and had no flavor (0/10 would not recommend). It was not a chowder at all. The clam fritters were pretty plain, so we preferred the scallops and corn fritters since it had more flavor. If you're in the area and looking for a snack, we would recommend trying the scallops and corn fritt
