I see others reviews and they all just about posted the solid food, BUT their caldos are the best, good caldos are not easy to find, but this is my go to place every time, every caldo (Mexican soup) is amazing! I have eaten all of them, the caldo de rea is so tender, I hated menudo, but they convinced me. The prices are great I spend over $20 with a caldo and drink. Not that long of wait for food, unless super busy, understandable, That is all I want year round. I highly recommend his place give it a try.
I don’t live out here so once in a while I come with my kids and we share the Carne Asada Fries and a small drink but that’s about $22. Seems $7 overpriced.
This used to be my go-to spot would eat here multiple times a week unfortunately I feel like it has kind of gone downhill as prices have continued to be raised seems like every time I come. The owner is extremely nice and everybody inside is very friendly but unfortunately my last experience has me questioning about returning. I ordered a breakfast crazy burrito My total was almost $15 for only a breakfast burrito nothing else and when I got the burrito is one of the smallest breakfast burritos I have received. I understand the cost of everything is raising and places must raise their prices but how can you justify raising your price to sell less burrito then you were previously providing. If you look in the photos I have attached I could almost completely grip the burrito with one hand s
We arrived a 1 1/2 hour before they closed. They were mopping part floor and had strong clean smell. We ordered at the counter and they brought food to our table. My wife had Jamaica drink and I had a Sprite. They had a self service salsa bar. The green avocado salsa was hot, though good. The mini tacos were meaty. The steak ranchero reminded me of my moms cooking and was good. The food came out quick. The employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and food quality was good. While we were eating they starting mopping around us too.
Recently heard of this place. Good food, huge portions, creative menu items (Hawaiian burrito anyone?). Friends and I orders the California burrito, enchilada plate, and veggie burrito. Portions are massive, food is good, service is friendly and food comes out fast. Relatively new spot here in grand terrace but definitely worth a try.
