Customer Reviews
This was my first time eating here. The restaurant looks a bit dated on the inside and out. I've never been a fan of carpet in a restaurant. The time was between 5-6pm when I went. We were greeted and seated immediately, our server was nice, checked on us regularly and keep our cups filled. I got a blooming onion, which was very good and hot. The food I ordered was hot but my flounder could have been seasoned more, but it was still good. I also ordered 12 Teriyaki wings to go for a family member, I was told they were crispy and good but we received 11 wings instead of 12. Over all I would probably go back if offered.
The food was really good. I do have to say that the hush puppies for a little bit weird. They were shaped like an onion ring and had too much cornmeal for my taste. The service was mediocre. Our waiter was friendly enough but when we asked for ketchup, he bought a massive and full of ketchup packets. I'm not sure what was going on, whether they ran out of ketchup for the bottles or what, I just found it a little bit odd that customers were expected to open packet after packet. I can't really say anything bad about the server, but he didn't do anything to stand out either. The restaurant was almost empty so I can't really comment on the atmosphere. But overall this is a pretty good place to eat.
The atmosphere was great with all the boat decorations as well as Christmas. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered the baby shrimp and fried flounder. The restaurant and restroom was very clean. The prices very reasonable.
Its ok but nothing special. It was fairly cheap for seafood. It seems the focus is quantity over quality. The portions were large but there wasn't a lot of flavor. I think the cooking oil may have been old and dirty because all the fried food had a weird taste. Also the place could definetly benefit from cleaning and updating. Dirty windows, worn decor, etc
Nice spot for some good food, only problem is had was the whiting fish wasn't season had to add hot sauce. All the other food was and the drinks was good
