George's Southside Restaurant

Delicious, Southern style breakfast. Fried flounder and Liver Pudding both top grade and the grits creamy and smooth. All of the servers are very nice and efficient. The best cup of restaurant coffee I've had in a long time and I LOVE that our server offered some French Vanilla creamer then brought an entire bottle to our table and left it so we could pour more when we got refills (BTW someone with a hot pot frequently passed by to "hot" our cups!) I asked for a few biscuits to go and I DON'T even like biscuits! LOL Theirs are DELICIOUS 😋

Good food, very friendly staff. You can get breakfast all day and they have great lunch plates. Lots of locals and regulars eat here daily.

Stopped here on the way back to FL. Very lively, busy place with mostly local clientele. Waitresses were very friendly and efficient. Food was good, I got the French Toast with eggs and fried potatoes. Some of the jellies were old, they just tasted off but overall the meal was good and served hot. The dining area is dated and worn and could use a bit of TLC. Overall, a decent place to stop for breakfast.

They are the best from the first time I went in there. I felt like I was at home and the owner told me you are at home and I've been going every since. If you want some good fried chicken, nobody can make fried chicken like that, but my mother may she rest in peace. They have good Southern food. They have All American menu. They have mediterranean. food so it's a large variety of food. I'm sure you will enjoy going there once you taste the food you won't. Ever , stop going and the prices are very reasonable

Down home country restaurant, I'd never been in my lifetime living in Columbia SC. They have daily meat specials and I'll be returning soon.
