Oceanas Bistro

Our second visit to OB on our trip to Avon. The shrimp tacos were delicious and my son had the fried mahi mahi sandwich. This was dinner and the place wasn't packed and the server was delightful. 6 of us visited Wednesday and enjoyed the wings special and every dish from the bang bang shrimp, blackened mahi mahi sandwich and my Avon Burger was delicious! Oh I didn't mention the wings they were great also. If you have the pleasure of being served by the lovely blond with the accent...it is a Polish accent and possibly one of the best servers on the East Coast.

Had a great lunch ,really good service, excellent food my poorboy was delicious . Plenty of classic seafood dishes, great area to sit outside, fun place to be eat and enjoy oneself.

Food was amazing! Got the blackened Mahi, the seasoning was perfect. Grilled shrimp, perfectly flavored. Onion rings were nice and crunchy. Had live music while we were there, had a lovely time. Service was great!

This has been the best meal I've had here in the Outer Banks so far! I had fried oysters and sauteed zucchini. My husband had the Avon burger, which has egg, bacon, cheese, and onion on it, with fries, and we split onion rings. Not only were the oysters terrific, but I enjoyed the zucchini just as much. The onion rings were great as well, and my husband said the burger was delicious. The prices were also decent. Would definitely come here again.

Spent about a week in Avon -- I think my boyfriend and I made a stop here almost every day! Nice place to grab a couple beers and we've tried several food items on the menu. Favorites were the clam chowder, hush puppies, fresh shrimp (really any shrimp item), and seared tuna. The bartenders were also super friendly and attentive. Thank you guys!
