Nugget Restaurant

I usually enjoy this place before a flight so I was excited to see they were open online. After so many other places were closed for the holiday. I turned in my rental car and walked over to see this sign posted out front. Now I am stuck at the airport with no food and have to wait for 3 more hours until my flight with no other options. Is it really that difficult to update your hours online?

The best last meal in Sitka. Located at the airport, the Nugget is a perfect last meal before boarding a flight and why not stop in after… I spent a year in Sitka and I only ate there once on my last day and I regret not going sooner and visiting more often. The food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service and staff as with everywhere in Sitka is kind and friendly. The ambiance is perfect for an airport, diner style and a full bar are available. Watch planes land and take off and have one of the best meals in town! I hope to be back one day. Thank you for being there!

Love that they serve breakfast all day policy. Fastest service to pick up! The food is traditional hearty American dinner. Wish they had more coffee options like lattes and stuff.

Great service. Great atmosphere. Never have to wait for a table. Sometimes the hours can be wrong and you have to call, especially during the winter months. Great homestyle restaurant.

Get the pie! This restaurant is tucked into the corner of Sitka's airport. It has a diner atmosphere and is perfect for passing the time while waiting for your flight. Prices are reasonable and staff was friendly and quick Get the pie!!! It was awesome! I got the blackberry, rhubarb, and strawberry pie with ice cream. It was delicious and was a delicious way to close out my trip to Sitka. Edit: went here for breakfast and their breakfast's are pretty spot on as well. It was a little crowded on Sunday morning but we were still able to get a table in a reasonable time (we had a large party) and get food ordered. The food was delicious! Hash browns were crispy, toast was perfect, and coffee was hot! You can't beat it! Well...you can if you get the pie...
