This is hands-down one of my favorite coffee shops in metro Detroit! What started as a Caribou Coffee chain years ago was saved by a group of No.VI dads who couldn’t bear to lose their go-to coffee spot. They took it over, but let’s be real—running a food business isn’t a walk in the park. Enter the most incredible couple who bought the place and transformed it into something truly special. The owner, hailing from Puerto Rico where her family runs a similar business, has poured heart and soul into this spot. It’s now the coziest, most welcoming place you’ll find. No judgmental hipster baristas here—just a genuinely kind and awesome staff who make you feel right at home. They bring their diverse backgrounds to the table, offering unique treats like Banh Mi sandwiches and Dora-Yaki alongs

I wanted an early morning coffee, and since I have 'Tim Horton' fatigue, I thought: "where can I find a real handcrafted coffee?"... I'm happy to write that No.VI fulfilled that desire. I got an Americano coffee black-my typical order-and it was great! Especially on that early, hungover, cold winter morning. The barista was polite, helpful, and held a conversation with me while I waited for my coffee. The location is decent, right near the highway but it took me a minute to navigate the roads. Atmosphere is welcoming and cozy as it should be, and the food looked good. When I am in the area again, this is where I will get my coffee and some quick breakfast food. Overall I would recommend this place, as 'No.VI Coffee and Tea' does a great job standing out from your typical mundane chain c

Seldom do I give five stars, but this place is certainly deserving. Was in town for a convention and stopped here. Three mornings in a row. Had the mocha twice and a cappuccino with an extra shot. Also had a cheese danish, Cherry Danish, bacon and sausage breakfast sandwiches as well as the quiche. Everything was very delicious! Maria and her husband are very friendly and inviting. The coffee beans are roasted on site and are sourced from Maria's family's farm in Central or South America (can't remember which). The coffee was very smooth and the extra espresso shot, although very strong was smooth and not bitter. The atmosphere is five stars for sure! I would love to visit back in colder weather when they would have the fireplace turned on. I wish the best to independent places such

This is a really nice coffee shop with all the standard coffee options along with a few recipes of their own. A really good cafe to try rather than the standard coffee chains. The place offers ample seating options (there are some really comfortable couches alongside the fireplace) and some really nice reads to go along with the coffee!

I ordered what looked like a watered down version of a matcha latte. There was barely any matcha in it and tasted only like oat milk. The caramel latte was not good either. Pretty pricey as well. We paid 16 dollars for these two drinks and ended up not drinking them.
