finally got to try this place and I’m so impressed! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was super fresh and high quality. You can really taste the difference, especially with the wagyu. So worth it. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a nice dinner without feeling too formal. And shoutout to our server, Leo — he was so friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. He made the whole experience even better. We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great shabu and amazing service!

Delicious hot pot experience! Our waitress Kara was so great and helpful as it was our first time. Kara was very kind and welcoming and wished us happy new year. Highest quality ingriedents and beef and sides and flavorful sides. 90 mins does feel a bit rushed and the restaurant is small so over stimulating at moments with getting up so much but you get used to it. 4 people party is perfecrt, smaller space so large groups would be hard. We got silver tier and felt like we got the full experience! Will be returning! No reservations as of now and wait time was about 1 hr.

A great atmosphere and even better food! Alan was such a great server and really helpful in helping us learn how everything works. Lots of variety of wagyu and sides -the kimchi xiao long bao, takoyaki, shumai, and mussels were my personal favorites. The yearly membership is worth it, if you are a planning on returning.

Dropped by the new Chubby Cattle in Novi during their friends & family soft opening week. They actually weren’t taking walk-ins during this time, but the manager noticed us pulling up and still welcomed us in since we’d driven quite a way to get there. That small act of kindness really set the tone for the night. We went with the Gold tier, which includes Japanese A5 wagyu, Australian A9+ wagyu, and American wagyu — all beautifully marbled and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The Japanese and Australian cuts were especially worth it. For broths, we chose the classic sukiyaki (a perfect match for the wagyu’s natural flavor with classic raw pasteurized eggs dipping) and the Japanese tomato soup base. The interior of this restaurant is gorgeous!! Very Japanese inspired! ACYE Wagyu Hotpot, if you get gold tier, you get a serving of Japanese A5 wagyu, and it was so good! Plus we ordered their specialty dishes like the Wagyu tartare and bone marrow and they were so delicious! And we ordered a lot of Australian and American Wagyu, they were great quality meats. Buffet had plenty of fresh vegetables, a sauce station, a rice dispenser which I really liked and Japanese beef curry to pour over it! Our server Kristi is amazing! She was super attentive, kept our broth topped up and always checked in to see if we needed anything. The rest of the staff were prompt and quick to clear plates and happy to help if you have any questions. This place is definitely worth checking out!
