I'm shocked at the bad reviews, we've been here twice and both times the food was really good. In fact, the Mezze bowl is my favorite thing about going to the zoo as the Mom. It is so good. It's $15 a burger for my kids but it's a good burger and comes with lots of fries for each kid. it's as much as it cost my family to go to 5 guys so I think for being at a zoo it's priced as expected really. The food is good and that's what matters to me. The worst is paying those prices at zoos, fairs, airports and then getting bad food. This food is delicious. The confusing thing is ordering on the kiosks...seems easier and has more menu options but my order took a long time when I did that. When I order at window it worked great and those seem to get made first. I WISH WHOLE KIOSK MENU opti

I know it's a zoo, but there could be better decision making. The food quality is as expected for this type of environment, maybe even a little better. The prices are expected for this type of environment too. a simple lunch is gonna run about $$15-20 a person. Kids menu items are bad. only a hotdog or PB&J. No healthly side options for burgers, only fries. okay, now for the areas needing significant improvement. Why does your main meal sitting area only have 3 umbrellas? Please rethink this. service needs serious improvement. first, I order at their kiosk which didn't work. I'm extremely technical, it wasn't user error. somebody came to reboot it while I was waiting at the order window. they took my order, then lost it. they handed me my drink and buzzer but didn't think to come fi

I work customer service, so I'm usually understanding, but having to wait half an hour, almost 45 minutes for pre-made food is insane. I came with my 3 year old nephew, and we had to wait outside in November because the dining hall was closed. We ordered fries, a pretzel, and a wrap. The fries were cold and hard, the pretzel didn't come with the advertised cheese and was also cold, and the "kale caesar wrap" ended up being lettuce, tomato, and chicken on a tortilla and that's it. The prices were awful too, as I paid $35 for those items and a bottle of water. I would have been fine with the state of the food if it at least came out quickly, but it took so long that my nephew was reduced to tears because he was cold and hungry. For a place that serves families every day, I expect more. Obvio

The cafe is inside the zoo, and requires park admission. We tried out the mobile order during our recent visit. The process worked, but was unclear. When submitted, go an email that said immediate pickup. You go inside and there is a pickup sign with no window and no staff. You just wait for them to bring out a takeout bag from the "private" door eventually. It was definitely not an immediate pickup. At least 10-15 mins after the email. When we got the food it was ok. Burgers were acceptable, but a little on the greasy side. The fries were hot, but kind of soggy. Seemed like they must have sat inside the takeout boxes for awhile before getting brought out. Had they not been soggy the fries might have been reasonably good. My daughter had the chicken strips which l

The food is fine, but after waiting 30 minutes and seeing multiple people who ordered after us get their food ahead of us, we asked for a to go container and rather than invest in environmentally conscious food containers, they would rather encourage food waste by forcing their customers to trash any food they don’t eat. This feels antithetical to any environmental efforts by the zoo, given the amount of water and energy that goes into food production (makes one wonder if any of their environmental initiatives actually do anything or if it’s all just performative). Some zoo visitors are on a time limit & after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a sandwich, perhaps do not have the time to finish their food and see the rest of the zoo so, your option is to demand your money back or thro
