North Branch - Weber County Library System

NOT A QUIET LIBRARY. Pros: The library is an amazing resource and the easy printer access is wonderful. Plus cool place for kids downstairs. Cons: The ladies who work there love to talk- a lot. I'm never able to study because the workers there are ironically loud. This has been a persistent problem the several times I've stopped in over the past year. This is not a one off situation. It's so common that I've stopped coming here entirely. Ladies. You are not above the rules you enforce!

similar review to what others have said about “damaged” books. i got an email saying i needed to pay $15 to replace a book i borrowed. i was completely surprised and was sure there must have been a mix up. when i got to the library they showed me the most recent book i returned with “water damage.” i asked to speak to a manager. she said the book was “severely damaged” and could not be put back on the shelf. none of the ink was smeared, not a page was torn. at that point i wasnt even sure if i caused the “water damage,” or if it was the person before me. this book was completely readable. if theyre getting rid of books in this condition thats a huge waste of our taxpayer dollars. if i checked out a book like this i wouldnt even think twice about its condition. ive been using public librari

The remodel looks great. They have separated the library floors to focus on age-specific content. The basement floor is focused entirely to children, while the main level is focused to research and adults. The remodel is very welcome and the new library is beautiful! It's a must see!

I recently had a significant surgery that has left me immobile and unable to drive for 3 weeks so far. This library has an amazing selection of enjoyable movies which I stocked up on to watch in recovery. I had complications with my items and the librarians were so understanding, compassionate, and willing to assist. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me at a time like this. This library is an amazing experience in every way- with amazing librarians to match!

Great library. Very comfortable and polite. Very clean and lots of programs. Conveniently located in a great neighborhood.
