NORI Sushi & Grill

Was very pleased with everything. Super nice staff and incredible portions. They do their rolls differently so they have a lot more filling. They even accommodated our special request roll. We only do vegetarian rolls and everything was fresh and beautiful. We were at the new University restaurant.

In Madison for work for a while and decided to stop by based on the reviews - I enjoyed the interior, staff was friendly, sushi was fresh and made extremely quick, and it was amazing! The Phoenix rolls are my new favorite! Will be back!

Amazing food and outstanding service, we order the takoyaki, shrimp and steak habatchi , and egg rolls, the takoyaki was delicious , the shrimp and steak habatchi was the best we have ever had ! And the egg rolls were so yummy , hot , and fresh . We also got the Mochi Sundae for desert and it was the perfect amount of sweet ! The owner was also present and was so respectful and humble as well as kind. He was also very attentive to our needs . If we could give 10 stars we would this restaurant is perfect for date night or birthday dinners as well a casual lunch date and has a very laidback atmosphere. We will be back again and again and again ! Thank you guys so much for outstanding service (:

The best tomago and spider roll we've ever had hands down. We walked in, ordered, and sat down. Within a few minutes we started getting our food. Things came out as they were prepared ensuring freshness. The sweet heart was a surprise! The flavors were spot on. Well, everything but the spring roll. It was mushy inside- I prefer a drier spring roll.

Excellent miso soup, and rolls were very good and reasonable priced compared to most. Cheap doesn't mean bad, excellent food. Highly recommend!
