Mansion Hill Inn

My husband and I enjoyed 2 wonderful nights at the inn and it exceeded even our high expectations. The warmth, helpfulness and high level of service by every member of the team is extraordinary. The property is stunning! We watched the most spectacular sunsets on the lake from our bathroom. Charming, clean, comfortable and well equipped doesn’t begin to describe our room. I appreciated the lovely Occitane bath products. We were in number 7 and totally delighted. It was very quiet and we slept soundly. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh berries, excellent bread and pastries and freshly brewed coffee. We’re on a long cross country road trip with many stops and this has been a highlight of our journey. If we return to Madison we wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

I had a wonderful experience at Mansion Hill Inn. The team there was absolutely lovely and attentive. I stayed in Room 8 and WOW! Windows on three sides of the room that let in the sunshine. The fireplace was such an added bonus and easy to work. The bathroom had a heated floor. The continental breakfast was perfect with bakery items and yogurt. Everything was fresh! I would stay here again if I were back in Madison. It's also very walkable to restaurants and shops. I must warn that although the spiral staircase is magnificent, if you have mobility issues, you should book a first floor room. The stairs are steep and narrow. The person who assisted upon check in brought my luggage up and also brought it back down with a smile and a great attitude.

Everyone was amazing and friendly got to have a nice. They even accommodated me with an early check in and were all ready to help me even carry my bag up to my room on the top floor. Was very peacful and relaxing get away for my birthday. Even started my morning with a nice conversation with Adam over some breakfast and coffee to start my morning. All in all very impressed. I usually don't do luxury things like this for myself so was all new to me from the top tier service to the fancy drinks at the cozy bar. I also liked how when I askeed somthing as simple as where a good place to get a burger would be they didn't look at me odd and gave a great recommendation to check out Dotty's. In short I would definitely come back again.

Our experience at the Inn was a 10/10. The staff was delightful, kind, generous, helpful, friendly and their attention to detail went unmatched. Our suite was gorgeous and spacious. Impeccable cleanliness. The gas fireplace was perfect for the frigid temperatures. It was a dream to stay here and we will bring back family and friends to share the beautiful memories.

Classy, gorgeous, well-appointed and centrally located. Staff is exceptional- Adam is amazing, no detail missed for a relaxing and beautiful weekend with my daughter. From the jazz band to fresh flowers, china and silver service, hand written notes and personalized cocktails this historic boutique inn is exquisite. Can’t wait to return!
