Nonna Rosa Pizzeria and Catering (Bridgeport)

I’m not normally one to leave a review but tonight was a HUGE disappointment. The man who answered the phone was incredibly nice and took the order perfectly. Unfortunately, the food was awful. We ordered broccoli in garlic and oil.. the broccoli was so watered down and soggy and barely any garlic at all. The calamari we had to toss also because no one could even chew through it. The garlic knots had good flavor but the dough was so undercooked. The rest of our food wasn’t as bad but for $100 only part of the meal was able to be eaten. We won’t be returning.

I was a regular customer. Their food is great. Most of the time. But my order is never right. And today i got wings. They gave me packets of ranch instead of the cups. They’re the most expensive food in the area comparing to similar places. I won’t be ordering here anymore.

Update - The date I was trying to order was Thursday 10/2 approximately 9:15pm for Delivery. The message I recall seeing on the order online website was that new delivery orders were not being accepted. Replying with these details in case it helps to identify an issue with the ordering website. If I confused your site with another restaurant, then please accept my apologies, and I will delete or modify the review. We were looking forward to trying out your pizza while we were visiting the area, based on your exceptional google rating. Catering is always delivered hot and delicious! Our family raves about how amazing the dishes are! The best!! Highly recommend chicken piccata, penne ala rosa and eggplant rollatini!! Authentic!!

The food is amazing. I love it. Staff is amazing as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the online delivery service they use messed up my order for a 2nd time.They didnt pick up my entire order or even delivery the correct order. This is the 2nd time this has happened with the delivery service. I wish they would just delivery through the restaurant and not a third party.
