As a place that boasts about their craft beer ... This place has epic meat. Awesome selection of porkand beef. Choice tenderloin is some of the best around. They have some phenomenal Potoato salads and stuffed mushrooms. Great pricing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend!

A unique venue reminding me of the corner grocery stores of my youth. Marvelous selection of hard to find bourbons and great fresh cut meats. The sausages are tempting but I'll need to wait until my next visit.

Found this gem online and with history like it has and family owned had to stop in. Nice selection of fresh seafood and meats and craft beer. Friendly staff who will answer questions even for those of us who do not eat meat but cook for others. Prices were fair and quality was good. Nice to have a long standing neighborhood market to trust! Would suggest, and would visit again.

I used to come here for special orders, even after moving across town, because I was a loyal customer. That ends now. The guys in the back are arrogant and lazy. I asked for 8 lbs of meat to be bagged in 2-lb portions so I could freeze it properly, and they tried to charge me extra for it. If you don’t want to do the work, just say that. Instead of explaining it professionally, I was talked down to like I was a child. There’s a reason customers ask for meat to be separated—so we don’t have to thaw everything at once. Wes in particular seems moody and unpleasant more often than not. Customer service here is trash. Do yourself a favor and go to Jacob’s instead—same quality meat, way better service.

I like the selection in the meat dept and the lady that helped me was very friendly, but the only complaint I have is the cashier.... She's not sociable or friendly. She's got her face stuck in a phone and acts like she's doing you a favor by checking you out. And it's not just one time... It's Everytime I've been there.
