Cornflower Cafe

Killer sandwiches, a great selection of custom dishes, sandwiches and soup. Plenty of canned goods and treats for sale as well. Excellent vibes here! Will come again. Tried taking a picture of our food but it was gone! This places has original vibes all the way down to the cool china!

This was my first time visiting this café, and I was really impressed! As many others have mentioned, everything here is completely gluten-free — which can be tough to pull off in the restaurant world — but they do it exceptionally well. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of greenery that adds a nice touch. I ordered the turkey burger with coleslaw on the side, and it was great — no complaints. I believe they make all their gluten-free bread in-house, and while it’s not quite as soft as regular bread, it was still flavorful and enjoyable.

The interior is cute and whimsical. The plants inside make the place feel welcoming. My experience there is always great! The staff are always nice and accommodating. Ann, the owner, is there all the time with a great attitude. The baked goods are to die for. You couldn’t tell that some of the items are gluten free! Did I mention that the prices for everything is reasonable too?

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I didn’t realize it was a gluten-free restaurant when I placed my order, but I was really satisfied with the quality of the food. The prices are surprisingly low considering the freshness and overall quality of the whole foods you’re getting. I wish we had a more restaurants like corn flower cafe.Their takeout packaging is biodegradable and I got a complete meal fo $11, grains, protein, dairy, and fruit. In Today's economy that is incredible.

I am new to the gluten free world and have found it difficult to find an enjoy meals with modifications. Visiting the area, I searched online for gluten free eateries and Cornfower Cafe popped up. I decided to give it a try and WOW was it delicious!!! I can tell you the baguette that my sandwich was on was fabulous! Great taste, good texture, easy to chew. I would not know I was eating gluten free bread! A dedicated gluten free space- this little cafe is a gem in Appleton!!
