⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem Alert! I stopped by Nick’s Deli in Hixson and grabbed a roast beef and pastrami sandwich to go—and WOW. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly stacked. The place itself is super simple, no frills, but that’s part of the charm. You can tell they focus on quality food and great service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re ever in the area and craving a solid deli sandwich, do not skip this spot. I didn't get to meet Jolly St. Nick himself but I certainly met the best Muffuletta I have ever consumed! If you've been searching for a real deli (as in NY), you should give this quaint place a try. Lots of room to move around if your transportation involves walkers or wheel chairs. Love the background recorded piano music. Be sure to check out the daily specials and the chalk boards behind the counter (The Super Deli Wrap and Cuban). Very simple place for a delectable meal.

I stumbled upon this place after taking a friend to a thrift shop nearby. I hadn't really spent much time in the area and was looking for somewhere to grab lunch that wasn't a fast food joint or a chain. You could almost miss this place because it's so unassuming. Something about a great deli sandwich and dill pickle sounded perfect to us. Oh man, this place did not disappoint. First, you walk in and are greeted by a casual, unpretentious restaurant with a deli counter toward the back. It's a neighborhood spot that serves locals and isn't trying to impress, which I think is a good thing. I was excited to see a traditional Reuben on the menu — I hadn't had one in ages.
