New York Fries Roosevelt Field

New York Fries was… okay. The fries themselves were decent — hot and fresh enough — but nothing to rave about. I’ve had crispier, more flavorful fries elsewhere. What really stood out was the service, and not in the best way. There was no line when I went, but it still took longer than expected to get my order. The staff didn’t seem rushed, just not very attentive, which was frustrating considering it wasn’t busy. If you’re craving fries and happen to be nearby, it’ll do the job. But if you’re looking for fast service or the best fries around, this probably won’t be your new go-to spot.

The food was amazing, however that is the only good thing I have to say about this place. Before taking our food to the table, my partner requested ketchup and mustard on their regular hotdog (which is free) and the employee had a hard time about it! I was furious. New York Fries more like New York Tries. Do better than this!

My first time at New York Fries. I ordered the ultimate combo: a plain hot dog, a coke, and truffle fries. There was no one in front of me, and the employee was friendly. The hot dog was too thick. More like a German sausage. The fries themselves were nice and crispy, but there was so much gravy (?) on them… it tasted more like poutine, and I don't like that. Because of that amount of gravy, the other fries were soggy and limp. I didn't taste any of the truffle at all. I'm not a fan of New York Fries. Oh… also strange; the ultimate combo costs $14.99, but if you order the special (plain hot dog and soda), you pay $6. Then add the small truffle fries for $7.49… it works out the same, but you pay less: $13.49. Still, $1.50! I realized this too late.

Best French fries in the mall!! Out of all the fries i definitely recommend all the loaded fries because the warm and the taste of them are so rich and definitely a filling food. Customer service is definitely the best🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️

Updated review because I love this place!!! I go all the time for lunch during work. Employees are so nice, shoutout to Keith! Fries are always fresh, I get the double bacon cheese fries with jalapeños 🤪 highly recommend
