Great comfortable vibe. Very inviting and the Beignets I had here are better than Cafe de Monde!!! I love that they give you different toppings options for your Beignets I had raspberry 😋. That part!
One of the best beignet I had, just thinking about them makes me crave it. Super light and buttery goodness. On the other hand, I’m not so sure about the tamales I had. Not a traditional tamale.
So happy we were able to get to New Orleans Beignet & Cafe before leaving town. Amazing staff with a cozy and welcoming environment. The freshly dropped beignets did not stand a chance against my family. I should have ordered more for the road and for home. Better than any other beignet I've had in New Orleans so far.
This place appears to be closed. The shop has gone thru 3 different name changes in the last month from Beignets Cafe, to Manny's tamales to Voodoo coffee. Something is wrong and I wonder what happen and why they are closed.
