New City Sushi

New City Sushi is a small tradition style Sushi bar/restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and service. A family run establishment with a single sushi chef that shows dedication in the meals he creates. Passing through the area I stopped in and requested an Omakase at the bar and was given a wonderful experience! The multi course Omakase featured some unique dishes such as Chuka Idako, fried Shishamo, Madai, Hotategai, Chutoro, Maine Uni and Chawanmushi. Overall this was a pleasant experience with a good atmosphere and tradition dishes you may not find at your typical sushi restaurant 6.7/10.

Great little restaurant with a passionate chef. The salmon lovers roll was so full of fresh salmon I will definitely be back soon!

Have done large takeout orders from here 4 times so far and every time the food was delicious and fresh. We are super picky with our sushi and just found our new go-to. I do think it's a little bit on the pricey side so can't do it as frequently as we would like to but when we do it's a yummy treat😋

New City Sushi (Miso Nara) has been a staple in Rockland County for 10+ years. The care that goes into each roll is extraordinary and it shows! My family comes here at least 2x a month, maybe even 3x. I’ve tried about every roll and they’re all fantastic in their own way. Personally I recommend the Salmon Lover Roll (simple yet perfect), the Spicy Tuna Dragon Roll (the avocado on top is amazing), and the White Dragon Roll. Also, I recommend ordering the Spicy Salad, it’s often overlooked but is extremely good. Of course, it’s no trip to New City Sushi without a Spicy Tuna Handroll, so definitely get one of those as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! :) OPEN FOR DINE IN NOW!!!

Great little sushi spot my family and I have been coming to for over 10 years. Staff is great and owner is awesome. Sushi tastes delicious and always looks amazing! Highly recommend.
