Neptune Township Public Library

Might possibly be the least friendly library I have ever been to. The first time I went, I encountered an unfriendly woman, but I gave it another try and yet again, the librarian was so unwelcoming and lacking any enthusiasm. I really wanted to like it, but I'll be going to the country library from now on. They are very friendly and helpful there!

I went there for help with some important government paperwork and to use a computer..I met a lady named Laura who not only guided me but who double checked my work so I wouldn't have any mistakes that would hinder the important issues challenging me.... I greatly appreciated it and plan to return this week to attend to more issues I have to take care of correctly .. without their help I wouldn't have been able to do everything correctly... I owe them extremely..... thanks everyone Jim Lorenz, Neptune NJ

Upstairs children's area is large and had many toys and activities for children ages 1-5ish. We didn't come during a group activity time but the space is great. We liked looking at their historical displays and the sea-themed painting in the stairway, and restrooms were very clean. Staff were not particularly friendly during our visit. Not rude, but slightly brusque... The restroom doors are very narrow - if wheelchairs do fit it would be very tight, and the buttons for the elevator are high to be out of reach of children so may be inaccessible for some handicapped people.

I misplaced my debit card and the employee in the library found it she was a supervisor she called me I said that she found my debit card I asked her what time she leave for the day show me that she was there all day but between three and four she has a break I drive a school bus I got off a little late I want to hear the next day and the supervisor was there she told me that my card would be behind the desk where they hold your id to get a pass ! The red head told me the card was shredded after she told me was there !; The red told we don't keep card only for a few days 😳 but supervisor told she had it !! I have a mentally challenged child and her money was on the card! I think the director of the whole library district needs to be notified the way they did me was not good

Just love the Neptune Library, and they have been extra great during the shut down, with projects for the kids to do, a great summer reading program, and of course easy curb-side pick up. We are lucky to have such a great library in town!
