Nebraska Family Restaurant

I really dislike giving locally owned restaurants bad reviews, but I’m sorry, this place was not good. I honestly feel like it was a waste of my money coming here. First, I’m not sure to what extent it’s possible, but this place needs more windows and maybe a glass door. Right now, it feels like you’re entering a prison. Also, the door lock should be changed to something more convenient for customers. Cleanliness: The place was not clean at all. You had to go through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, and nothing felt clean in this place. The food was not good; it was dry and tasteless. There were also all sorts of signs all over the place that did not make sense. I think this place needs a complete evaluation plan.

Nebraska City your town had the best breakfast I have eatin in a very long time. Great service food was cooked perfectly I felt. Eggs, Bacon & Hash browns, biscuit & coffee. Skipped the toast very glad I did that. Food was great however the service they offered us was unbelievably good. We were traveling through this town headed home. Google reviews hit a home run on recommending Spring Garden Restaurant. When travel through Nebraska City I will take time to eat here because my first experience was great. They have cooks that are very good in my opinion My wife had Ham, egg, hash browns & toast. She felt the same way I did about this restaurant.

Great food, very friendly, hard working crew. Home of the monster meat loaf sandwich!

Tons of food for the price! I had a sirloin special for $15.99. The steak could have used some seasoning but was cooked appropriately. The coleslaw was rather mushy. But food overall was good and I’d visit again.
