Traveling through heading to South Dakota & stopped here because the pictures of the food looked great & it had good reviews. AWESOME FOOD! AWESOME SERVICE! WAITER WAS AWESOME! Food was out in no time & it was phenomenal. Nacho chicken fajitas were just... so good. Bless yourself & eat here

El Portal in Nebraska City is one of my go-to spots for a great meal. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the service is consistently friendly and fast. I always order the Burrito Bandera and it never disappoints, it’s filling, flavorful, and made exactly how it should be every time. If you’re looking for a solid Mexican restaurant with reliable food and a great atmosphere, I definitely recommend El Portal.

Every time we are in Nebraska City we stop at El Portal! Delicious food, very reasonable prices, and friendly employees. Love it! Can't wait for our next trip to Nebraska City!
