Naan N Oven

The previous owner of Happy's in Ripon have moved location to Salida. I was disappointed that they closed down, but I'm even grateful that their new restaurant is closer to me. I dine in for their lunch buffet. They give you the option of garlic or plain naan that is complimentary with the buffet; along with their basmati rice. Their buffet is smaller when it comes to their food options. Every dish is flavorful with the seasoning and spices. The tandoori chicken is by far, the best tandoori chicken I've had from an Indian restaurant. The spices and seasoning is super flavorful. The fish pakora is delicious. Crispy batter with the flavorful spices/seasoning. The chicken and goat curry did not disappoint either. I couldn't help myself, but eat several plates of the curry. The butter chicken

Me and the wife (both from England) were travelling around California and we booked into a hotel not far from the restaurant. As we drove by it going to the hotel we both just fancied a curry. We order the curry for a delivery and when the food came it was still hot. The food was amazing, my wife is a vegetarian (no idea why) 😂 and obviously I’m not. We both love a curry and have them wherever we go, but this curry was just the best, to the point we decided our next road trip around California we will pass by this place and order some more food.

I had a great experience at Naan N Oven. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel comfortable right away. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the buffet was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the aloo tikki, tandoori chicken, and naan—they were amazing. The samosas were mouthwatering and tasted freshly made. You can tell that the owner takes pride in maintaining the restaurant and serving fresh food. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy quality Indian cuisine. I hope they add more items to the menu in the future, such as Momos and more goat dishes in the buffet. Highly recommended!

My family had a very good meal and the prices were very affordable. Nice place for a simple date or a nice sit-down meal with family. I would definitely suggest the buffet so you can try out a variety of their food.

Good quality food, fine for takeout, completely awful for dining in - I see they have a lunch buffet and the service may be more helpful during those times but for dinner its nearly nonexistent - dressed sloppy and disinterested in drink refills or bringing the check, mostly just hanging out in the kitchen. And zero atmosphere in the dining room - glaring bright lights and undecorated walls, huge area of exposed fixtures and sockets for screens… the food is promising but there is no effort to make a pleasant or welcoming atmosphere
