The food was amazing, we were seated upstairs which had a beautiful view of the town. Absolutely one of my favorite movies. Seeing the memorabilia on the walls and the movie playing, i was just in heaven. The pizza was a slice a heaven, cheese bread sticks definitely a must try. Definitely looking forward to the next trip there. Hoping to get to see more of the town.
Came here with babers and his friends after a weekend in CT. Cozy restaurant. Staff and service were very nice and quick. Food was top notch. Never seen this movie though. I heard it was a hit in the 80s. I love a good pop culture sight. Soda was so crispy, craving some right now. 5 stars all around!
A truly iconic and wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm, nostalgic, and full of charm, making it special from the moment you walk in. The pizza is delicious with fresh ingredients, great flavor, and a perfectly baked crust that hits the spot every time. What really stands out is the overall experience—friendly service, a welcoming vibe, and the sense that you’re enjoying a piece of local history. Whether you’re visiting Mystic for the first time or coming back again, Mystic Pizza is a must-stop. Highly recommended for great food and an unforgettable, classic Mystic experience. 🍕
Forever living in the 80s. They have that theme restaurant vibe. There is plenty to look at around the restaurant. A lot of movie memorabilia. The decor is, well, Julia Robert’s everywhere. But I couldn’t find a Pretty Lady reference. ;) They even have the movie playing on a tv screen above the dining room. I sat there and wondered what the restaurant would look like if it hadn’t been influenced by the movie and would they ever consider modernizing the joint, separating themselves from the movie since at this point it is very old and millennials and certainly Gen Zers don’t know of it. But I digress. The pizza is good, not excellent. I’m biased because I’m from NYC and my preferred style is different but that being said I like how they do it. The thick crust pan style. Lots of cheese an
Great gluten free dough and regular dough!! We stopped in around 6pm and were quickly seated upstairs. The atmosphere was very pizza shop—-large wooden tables, Mystic Pizza playing on the TV and photos of the movie and celebrities. We ordered the garden salad. It was plenty big enough to split for 2-3 people. We each got the small pizza in pepperoni. The gluten free crust was tasty, it had a nice buttery flavor and good texture. The regular pizza I asked for it to be well done so that it had crispy pepperoni, which it did. It was oozing with cheese, but wasn’t super heavy and a perfect amount of sauce with a nice flavor. We each had a glass of wine, which was priced from $8-10 each. The server was really friendly and stopped by several times to check on us. Overall a lovely experience! We
