Murray House Country Inn

Beautiful and quiet location. We stayed in the room down stairs connected to the kitchen. Comfortable bed and clean room. The kitchen was very nice. The owner was great to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend.

I almost don’t want to review this location just to keep it secret. This place was amazing. If you’re looking for a stay, away from the usual corporate style hotel, this is your place. With a beautiful setting and the smell of history, I was blown away by the property’s aesthetic. It’s a location where history meets class, with my room having exposed brick, gorgeous furniture, but with a feel of classic American architecture. The cherry on top was sitting on the porch rocking chair at 6:30 am, listening to the rain as I looked out to the beautiful landscape. I’ll be here every time I’m in the area.

We spent a night to attend our granddaughter's wedding. Very nice historical house with beautiful grounds. Lynn is a gracious and friendly hostess who makes you feel at home. The breakfast is wonderfully delicious. We had an enjoyable time rocking on the back porch. We highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely adorable! Booked this place hesitantly because we had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before but we needed a place to stay for a cheerleading competition. We had the best experience!!! Lynn was the best host making us a perfect breakfast. The place was immaculately clean, we felt like the first guests ever. If we’re ever in the area, we will be sure to stay again.

Had a lovely stay here while working in the area! Lynn is a very gracious and attentive hostess, and the lodgings + amenities are elegant and practical. Parking is easy, and there's a cute little shrub maze out back (with a friendly cat to match). Pricing is quite affordable, especially compared to what a hotel would provide vs. this. I definitely recommend the inn to anyone traveling through, and hope to return in the future! :)
