Customer service was great, no complaints there. Food on the other hand was ok. It was a buffet and even though that's not my preference, it was priced perfectly during the lunch hour ($19.99) and I wanted options. There were several options and all were standard, but nothing truly overwhelming--I believe the lamb curry was the best as the chicken in the other dishes were dry white meat. The biggest thing I noticed were several people taking their used plates back to the buffet to replenish their food (yuck)! Now, I will say I didn't see anyone use the spoon from the buffet dish to touch their used plate, but still--I think there needs to be some oversight about this. Decent though and maybe I'd try something off the menu next time.
Had a great meal here. Ordered the butter chicken and rice, chicken biryani, a mango lassi, mango chutney, and naan. All of the entrees were hot and flavorful. The chicken biryani was delicious and came with raita. The staff was very kind and attentive and brought a complimentary rice pudding at the end! Would absolutely return and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough to anyone who wants delicious and affordable Indian food.
A hidden corner of India in NYC, excellent service, impeccable, and delicious food. Be aware that some dishes are spicy. But overall, it's excellent!
I’m from out of town and was waiting by when I saw the ayce lunch buffet sign so I checked the selection which was good and ate there. The pice was reasonable at $20 considering their lunch specials are $16. It has an elegant atmosphere with white tablecloths and soft music in the background. The food was very flavorful just not as spicy as I prefer it. They have an attentive and friendly staff. I will be happy to come back next time I’m in town.
A large two level Indian restaurant by same owners as Sathi in Gramercy park. Gotta shout out to the extra spicy Lamb Vindaloo, good thing we only ordered one for the table. Pakoras were nice and crispy not oily. Loved the yellow dal, wish they were larger. Butter chicken and lamb biryani were excellent, same for garlic naan. Would love to try again.
