Mt Dora Library

I have been coming to this wonderful library, and I love it; my kids love it too, the library is organized, and people are friendly; for kiddos, every day of the week at 10:30 am has a different story time; we love coming to do different activities, inside and outside; they have nunan butterfly garden and it’s a great place to walk. Thank you for everything, you are doing very well staff members.

What a great place to take your kids or grandkids! The dinosaurs were really a special treat for them! And me! I thought they were so beautiful and interesting, and very well put together. The young lady in the children’s library part was super nice and made us feel super special and welcomed. (Even though we were there close to closing) we went through the butterfly garden, and just had a special time. Please go- it’s definitely a memory maker.

Me and the little went to the story time hour and it was so much fun! The reader was fantastic. Afterwards we wandered around a bit and really enjoyed the layout and the butterfly garden walk. We can’t wait to come back.

Rude (male) library attendant during the evening. Not a welcoming atmosphere like the Seminole County Library. I have so much respect for librarians but why the superior attitude? Maybe fire some of the attendants and the location might improve. More worried about kicking people out into the pouring rain then human kindness and respect. It's a shame. Being kind is free remember that. Treat everyone with love and respect. Also, very limited selection of books that I need in the non-fiction category. Many of the selection is dated or heavily focused on YA readers. Needs updated selection maybe like a NYT best seller list or expand New Release so hard to find anything current. Tiny selection on e-books available online.

update: library is very spacious. the wifi here is good but can be slow if a lot of people show up all at once. Great place to study. Great collection of books and very peaceful
