Mr Shucks Seafood

Very GOOD. We sat at the bar because table wait was about 40 minutes. That was a GREAT idea that the food was good. The bartender was excellent. He was very familiar with the menu and brought out a shrimp sample without us asking. We ordered the Shuck sauce on the wings, fried green tomatoes, and a crab boil. Everything was fresh and hot. Crab legs were plump and delicious. We wanted to know if the owner was in the restaurant. But, everyone was working hard to get orders taken and out. Recommended!!!

This weekend, Lisa and I along with other couples strolled to Mr. Shucks Seafood Restaurant on St. Simon Island from our resort. This restaurant was highly recommended & it didn't disappoint. I ordered The Big Show Crab & Shrimp Feast, so much food to enjoy. I will definitely return! & YES, the food was delicious!!! 😋. Our server, Marchez, was awesome & shout out to Holly but everyone there was super friendly, uber nice, accommodating. We were able to take our time & eat our meal without feeling rushed. If you are in the area, stop by.

My husband and I stopped here yesterday for lunch. It was our first time! The atmosphere was lovely. Beautiful, classy, and somehow casual at the same time. They have $10 lunch specials 11-3 Monday through Thursday. Comes with an entree, one side, and a drink. Honestly, a really great deal! Our appetizer was fried green tomatoes. They were pretty good. For lunch, we each ordered the shrimp specials with coleslaw. My husband had fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce, and I had spicy garlic shrimp, blackened. Delicious, but the spicy garlic wasnt very spicy. We also got a tray of steamed oysters. We chose Mr Shucks sauce on them, which we were told were kind of Cajun flavored. However, they were more buffalo flavored than anything. If I could, I would go back and get a different sauce. I

Oh my gosh! We loved this place. We stopped here while visiting the area. Everyone at Mr Shucks Seafood was absolutely delightful. Kiki, our server, served up our food with a warm smile and a "Can I get you anything else?" We learned that Kiki is the daughter of the founders of this place. We both ordered the daily special shrimp (anyway you want it cooked). We both got a side of fries, cole slaw and hushpuppies. It was delicious. BTW, you won't find hushpuppies on the menu. Here they are known as 'Miss Shuck's Pups'. This plac will be a regular stop for us when we are visiting the area. It should be for you too!
