The Grey Owl Inn

I planned a Valentine’s weekend getaway for my wife and I in Saint Simons Island (95 miles from home). The Grey Owl Inn was an excellent choice, the location for the surrounding area was nice. We enjoyed some great restaurants in the area and the hospitality given by Debi was awesome. The room was nicely decorated and spacious for us and we enjoyed the privacy. The breakfast provided by the Inn was a great way to get our day started each day!!

We selected The Grey Owl Inn for our couple of days on Saint Simon's Island. It is a fabulous property hidden from the street. Lush landscape. Well-appointed rooms. Conveniently located near the village.

Nestled in a lush garden with old oaks draped in moss, a large pond with running water and plentiful blooms, the Grey Owl Inn welcomed us with its serenity after a long drive. The place is impeccably maintained, and its owl themed decor oozes with southern charm and hospitality. Our room was perfectly appointed, with comfortable bed and pillows, array of good bath products and coffees and teas.||The breakfast, included in the quite affordable price, was prepared to order and very delicious. Restaurants, shops and a gorgeous beach are a nice walk away. ||If your travels find you in St. Simons Island, make sure to visit the Grey Owl Inn!

We had a wonderful time at the Grey Owl Inn. The host Debi was very friendly and kind. It was a special treat to have breakfast prepared each morning. The rooms were filled with charm and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The beach and shops are walking distance and we enjoyed early morning walks.

The service, the food, the grounds, the Inn itself, it all feels like magic. Like I somehow stepped off the earth as we know it and into a dream of what the world can be like. Do your soul a favor and treat yourself to a night here.
